Barry co-founded the largest advertising agency in Alabama. Barry has extensive experience in the introduction of new products, among them a sonar device for Huminbird Fishfinders. Barry also represented significant entertainment companies such as Ringling Brothers. At another point in his career Barry was part owner of a NASCAR team.
Francis is a founding partner of Communications Resources LLC, a public affairs, public relations and political consultancy specializing in government and media relations, corporate communications and crisis communications planning and response. He has led numerous high-profile communications initiatives, developed policy issues for political candidates, and grassroots engagement efforts. Throughout his career, Johnson has also served as a strategist and consultant on various public affairs initiatives addressing a host of issues, including, defense, energy, agriculture, IT, and health care.
Gerald has served in virtually every capacity in the newspaper publishing industry from pressman to publisher to regional VP in charge of 19 newspapers for a major public media company. Gerald has acquired and turned around troubled publishing companies and served as CEO of a public company.
John has a background in law, real estate acquisition, development, and consumer finance and was a co-owner of one of the largest privately owned mortgage origination and management companies in New Zealand, with a book of mortgage business in excess of $260 million. John has also successfully syndicated significant real estate transactions in the Southwest and Southeastern areas of the United States. John currently is a partner in an investment company exploring investments in gold, silver, copper, oil and community currencies.
Kevin co-founded a company that became the largest homebuilding company in Southern Arizona. Kevin earned an MBA in Finance from USC. Kevin has extensive experience planning and winning government approval of development projects, as well as in marketing and selling real estate. Kevin is aggressively pursuing digital initiatives to disintermediate the traditional real estate agents and customers.
Mary Lou Bowers
Mary Lou has more than four decades of experience as a health care administrator, serving in many capacities from physician group practice administrator to hospital system vice president. She has implemented positive change and embraces development for leadership within organizations. She considers client’s interests and translates the big picture as it relates to the client’s specific project. Mary Lou has introduced strategic and tactical solutions that improve competitive performance while increasing revenue and profits for providers and industry.
Matt has earned an MBA from the Eller School and has worked in B2B marketing. Matt later designed a marketing campaign that achieved dramatic savings for Weed Whackers Unlimited that increased their sales by 132%. Matt is also a co-founder of a non profit organization designed to implement a program to help workers overcome financial stress by implementing a 0% interest payroll advance service. The organization will also launch a community currency to help small business by financing receivables, also at a 0% interest rate.
Mike co-founded what came to be the largest advertising, public relations, direct marketing and public affairs company in the Southwest. Mike has extensive experience representing newspapers, homebuilders, utilities, trade associations and initiative/referendum campaigns. Subsequently Mike became a major shareholder in a fund that helped launch a dozen small companies two of which eventually went public.
Patrick J. Summers, M.S.
Mr. Summers specializes in corporate controllership, internal audits, and independent audits of for-profit and nonprofit organizations. Prior to establishing his consulting firm Summers and Associates, LLC, and forming the certified public accounting firm of Turbyfill, Summers, and Wall, LLC, he completed eight years as Chief Financial Officer and Controller for AIMS Worldwide, Inc., a five-subsidiary publicly-traded marketing and media corporation where he was responsible for design and execution of all financial and accounting functions, including timely, accurate reporting to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the Internal Revenue Service.
He has also been Controller and Business Manager for several nonprofit organizations as both employee and volunteer. In addition, he was C.F.O. and Controller for News USA, Inc., a national public relations/publicity firm where he began as Production Manager and subsequently designed and implemented operations systems for the company’s growing product line. As a member of the executive management team, he originated the C.F.O./Controller position and later became Executive Vice President.
As a consultant Mr. Summers has had a wide variety of experiences including contract accountant/controller work, individual tax preparation, and nonprofit audit. In addition, he serves on the Finance Committee of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington (D.C.).
A member of the National Society of Accountants and the National Association of Tax Professionals, Mr. Summers holds a Master of Science degree in Management from Louisiana State University and earned graduate credit from The University of Virginia and Tulane University in New Orleans. Active in many collegiate organizations, he was Local Committee President of the International Association of Students in Economics and Business Management and a member of the Union Program Council and the Governing Board, and he was admitted to the campus honorary fraternities of Omicron Delta Kappa and Mortar Board.
Peter launched a successful public affairs company in Southern Arizona that over a period of several decades has passed over $3 billion to date in voter approved bonding authority for local governments, successfully represents clients in contentious matters before regulatory bodies, manages successful candidate as well as issue elections and creates successful marketing communications efforts for a variety of commercial clients.
The Ogden Group, Inc. was founded by Rich Jasinski in 1991. At that time, his vision for the company was to provide his clients with customized leading edge products, services and solutions, as well as exemplary customer service and quality, resulting in maximum marketing sales efforts for his clients. His vision still holds true today.
An expert in applying information technology to client marketing needs, Rich, prior to founding The Ogden Group, was senior vice president, director of research and development for Saatchi & Saatchi Direct. During this 12 year tenure at Saatchi, he designed and implemented major database marketing applications and sales force productivity systems for major corporations, including IBM, NYNEX, Paine Webber, DuPont, Oneida Silversmiths, Xerox, Allen-Bradley, Eastman Kodak and CNA Insurance. In addition, he was instrumental in developing customized reader service and marketing programs for many publications, including Golf Digest, Time Magazine, Fortune, PC World, MAC World and East West Network.
Today, Rich leads the company team in providing marketing expertise to a number of clients in telecommunications, manufacturing systems, financial, education, consumer product, and the communications industry, as well as publishing.
Rich is a creative force. According to the Today Show, he produced the most effective political campaign spot in the 1982 election. Rich also introduced Indian Gaming to Arizona. Rich has extensive experience in design, production and implementation of marketing communications in the automotive, political, retail, home building and financial sectors. Rich also teaches copy writing at a local college in his spare time.
Robert is a digital marketing specialist who launched web sites and online streaming sites for several network affiliated television stations. Robert represents clients in the real estate, retail, not for profit and political markets. Robert is a leader in the field of online targeting using databases and message delivery using ISP delivery systems that do not rely upon “cookies.”
Robert J. Keefe
Robert provides services to companies and governments in international trade and business matters as the chairman of TKC International, Inc. Over the last thirty years, Keefe brought together unique teams of professionals offering expertise in representation, lobbying, public affairs, and strategic communications. Hailed as a "major factor in American politics" by no less an authority than The New York Times, Bob Keefe has been active in every national political campaign since 1964. A long-time veteran of Democratic Party politics, Bob Keefe has served as an adviser to presidential candidates, senators and congressmen, governors and mayors.
Tim is a veteran business executive with a wide range of experience in technology companies. His background includes business plan development, capital formation, all aspects of operational management, mergers, acquisitions and international business development. During his over 40 years of business experience, including over 25 years spent in Silicon Valley, he has had experience in all aspects of technology company growth and development with a special emphasis on startup and early stage companies.
Tim founded Intelligent Technologies, Inc. (“ITI”) in 1998 as a vehicle for his diverse business activities www.intelligent-tech.com. Since 2001, Tim has built ITI into an online B-to-C retailer. Starting with a single online store in 2001, ITI (under its retail brand ITI Web Stores) has operated multiple e-stores. ITI developed the site SuperSizeWorld.com which it sold to Casual Male Retail Group (Nasdaq:CMRG) in late 2006 and which is now operated as DestinationXL.com.
Tim’s last consulting engagement was as President and Chief Operating Officer of UCI Web Group, Inc., an Internet professional services provider to such high profile clients as Federal Express, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, Sun Microsystems, Best Foods and others. Under contract to UCI from July, 1999, through June 2001, he was responsible for all day to day operations and for the integration of new acquisitions into the UCI Web group.
Prior to joining UCI, Tim was President of OnlineFocus, an Internet developer in Cupertino, California purchased by UCI in 1999. Prior to that he was CEO of NTI, Inc., an Armor Holdings (NYSE:AH) company specializing in computer security and forensic technology sold to Armor Holdings (NYSE:AH) who was in turn acquired by BAE Systems of England. Prior to NTI he was President and CEO of MicroSpeed, Inc., a worldwide manufacturer of computer input devices which he co-founded in 1986.
Throughout his career Tim has had extensive experience in establishing and maintaining international relationships for domestic corporations. He established his first trading relationship in China in 1978 and he has in depth experience in international manufacturing, product distribution, technology licensing and finance, particularly throughout Europe and in China, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Japan. International partners have included Samsung, Sejin, Hitachi, NEC, Artec and others.
Thomas F. Gibson
Tom is President of Advocacy Animation, an Internet-focused animated content production and distribution company. Tom is an award-winning cartoonist and writer, whose works have appeared in media such as USA Today, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, National Journal, The Madison Record, The Weekly Standard and for numerous corporate, association, and NGO clients -- including The World Bank. Prior to 1998, Mr. Gibson was Director of Special Projects, reporting directly to the CEO of MCI telecommunications, Mr. Gibson was Special Presidential Assistant and Director of White House Public Affairs from 1985 to 1987. From 1983 to 1985, Mr. Gibson was associate Director of White House Cabinet Affairs.
